Hair growth has three phases; Anagen, Catagen and Telogen.
The hair's active phase is called anagen. During anagen, the hair contains an abundance of melanin. Hairs in this phase are most affected by electrolysis and laser hair removal treatments.
Catagen is the regression phase when the lower part of the hair stops growing and separates from the papilla where a new hair is formed.
The resting phase is called telogen, during which the old hair falls out in preparation for the development of a new hair.
Changes to your hair growth and/or excess hair can be as a result of certain
medications and medical conditions as well as hormonal changes and heredity
factors. To find out more about your specific hair concerns contact us for
